Dear Friends and Community Members,
First of all I would like to welcome all Nepalese-American community members and our well-wishers residing in central Florida region to our organization’s (NCCO-Nepali community center Orlando) website.
With each passing days our community has been growing by leap and bound in central Florida region which gave us a challenge as well as an opportunity to work towards fostering and preserving Nepali language, culture, customs and heritage that defines our uniqueness in this multi-cultural nation. Hence, to actively preserve and promote Nepalese heritage and cultural, NCCO was established in year 2012; so that more people can be part of this integral movement. Celebrating festivals with friends, families and the community members at large; sharing values, culture and traditions within our own community and collaborating with other communities, helping preserve our language, culture as well as heritage and working on transferring them to younger generation has been the main objective of our organization.
We have come long way since 2012 but still lot of things is remaining to be achieved and done. We all need to expand further the mission of NCCO, building on the past achievements and also learning from past mistakes. Everyone in this community should take pride in ownership of this organization. Let us forget our differences (if any) and let us come together and make NCCO an example among myriad of Nepalese organization in the United States.
Thank you once again for reading my message.
